It's been seven months since I've updated or even accessed my blog; oops. It's been two semesters, and now we're at the final week of the Fall Semester. Tomorrow is Jury and then I'll be off for three weeks (albeit working a lot more).
There hasn't been a whole lot when it comes to art, but it's been an interesting road since Spring Semester. This has been a year of changes.
Anyway, hoping to keep updated on here.

Reading...
Notes acquired from reading - In a story, it's best to keep the dialogue as free as necessary, and avoid making it sound "forced." Show, don't tell. Don't give away insights to an event through telling, just show it. Avoid redundancy errors, such as elaborating on gestures and speech to restate that a character is such and such. Allow the reader freedom of imagination and give them the benefit of the doubt, trust that they "get" and "remember" details. All noted, but to put them in practice will require a lot of...well, /practice/. o__o Looking forward to it fosho. Must prepare for this year's NaNoWriMo, after all.

Still here!
With all the chaos and hectic-ness that has become my average day lately, I've forgotten about this blog and neglected it along with all the other places I visit. O.o
What's new?
I'm glad to say I'm close to finishing the last of five dragons I was commissioned to illustrate for a collectible card game in the making. I'm very excited! After that, I will begin and finish the five commissions from deviantART. Looking forward to painting something different from dragons. o_O
School is too much of a mess for me to even find where to begin. I'm just going to say that I have five weeks left and I'm counting every. Single. Day.
Lastly, I've got my first issue of ImagineFX magazine and it's absolutely inspiring. :D I did one of the workshops and thought I'd share that bit:

Well, that's it from me, for now. I'll try and update this soon. ^_^
